Who We Are
Founded in 2019, Mary’s Footwear is a registered company in Cape Town, South Africa, that supplies latin, ballroom, salsa, and jazz dance shoes and dance accessories nationwide.
Our vision is to be the first choice for dance shoes in South Africa and to support our customers by providing extraordinary service, and high-quality products at very competitive prices.
Our Story
“A few years ago, my wife decided to join a social ballroom dance school. There were not many places in Cape Town to purchase ballroom shoes and the selection was very limited. My main business is importing, and I initially only planned to buy shoes for my wife and a few of her dance colleagues. But the interest in dance shoes just grew and grew.
With the growth in the business, we felt that we needed to have our own branding. We had many ideas and finally came up with ‘Mary’s Dance Footwear’. This is in honor of my late mom who had a passion and love for dancing. She danced until into her late 70s.”
